Features
1. High Production Efficiency
The machine delivers output up to 58,000 paintballs per hour. The mold roller speed is adjustable from 0–5 rpm, ensuring stable continuous production suitable for commercial manufacturing.
2. Precise Filling Control
Equipped with a 2.7 ml piston filling system, the machine achieves filling accuracy within ±1%, ensuring consistent paintball weight while minimizing material waste.
3. Superior Encapsulation Quality
Encapsulation efficiency reaches up to 98%. The mold is made of aerospace-grade alloy, producing perfectly spherical paintballs with uniform dimensions.
4. Compact Structure and Easy Operation
The integrated design saves installation space. The PLC control system with a touchscreen interface automatically adjusts filling volume once parameters are set.
5. Food-Grade Material System
The conveyor belt is FDA-approved food-grade material, non-toxic and easy to clean, making it suitable for biodegradable and environmentally friendly paintballs.
6. Intelligent Micro-Lubrication System
The micro-lubrication system automatically adjusts lubrication oil supply according to encapsulation speed, reducing paraffin oil consumption and lowering operating costs.
7. Stable Cooling and Gelatin Control
The cooling drum is independently controlled by a variable frequency drive, allowing temperature and speed adjustment to improve gelatin ribbon forming quality.
Applications
- Paintball field suppliers
- Tournament-grade paintball manufacturers
- Outdoor sports product companies

Paintball Manufacturing Process

1. Gelatin Preparation and Solution Mixing
Paintball shells mainly consist of gelatin, water, mineral oil, glycerin, and sorbitol. Different formulations determine paintball grades, including field-grade and tournament-grade. Single-color, dual-color, and patterned paintballs can also be produced.
Meanwhile, the filling liquid is prepared. All materials must be food-grade, water-soluble, and biodegradable to ensure safety, easy cleaning from clothing, and environmental protection.

2. Paintball Encapsulation
The rotary die system forms gelatin ribbons, injects filling liquid, and seals paintballs in one continuous process.

3. Paintball Drying
Drying consists of two stages:
Tumble drying removes approximately 50% of moisture
Static tray drying further removes remaining moisture

4. Paintball Inspection
Before packaging, paintballs must undergo inspection. This includes checking appearance, sealing integrity, hardness, and size. Paintballs are also tested using paintball markers to ensure performance in real-world applications.
